14" Bettis Custom Strong Edge Hi-hats |

This 14" set of Strong Edge hi-hats weigh in at 1086 and 1283 grams, and were hammered into shape from raw cymbal blanks on a beautiful, secluded beach at Trap rapids. The river was flowing at about 6,100 cfs (cubic feet of water per second), and Trap was beckoning me to come for another swim. "Hello, Matt. Come and swim with us. Come and swim with us, Matt. Forever, and ever, and ever." This time, I politely declined the offer. With Strong Edges, I leave the very edge of the cymbals as thick as they came from the foundry. The thick edges give you a stronger foot chick and more articulation than you would normally get out of a set of 14" hats at these weights.
