This brand new 24" Hard Top medium-thin ride weighs in at 2903 grams, and was hammered into shape from a SABIAN cymbal blank. With Hardtops, I hammer only on the tops of the cymbals instead of both tops and bottoms. It increases the work-hardening of the playing surface for enhanced stick attack. Hard Tops are exclusive to Bettis cymbals.
